Paymex Group, one of the largest financial solutions providers in the UK, has announced a partnership with Secure Trust Bank, to launch the UK’s first current account with a prepaid card facility, Evolution.
Combining the security and convenience of a current account with the flexibility of a prepaid MasterCard, it provides an ideal solution to help UK consumers manage their personal finances.
The unique account combines all of the features associated with a traditional bank account, including standing order and direct debit facilities. The account holder can only spend as much money as is on the card, so there is no danger of going overdrawn and being charged.
The account is available to anyone subject to qualifying identity checks and the accompanying card can be used free of charge at over 28.5 million retail outlets worldwide, for online purchases and abroad wherever the MasterCard logo features.
